nInEtEeN!!!!

Ladies and Gents:  It's official, I am nineteen!! Yeah, crazy, I know.

But basically yesterday was one of the best birthdays I've ever had.  Let me tell you why.
Midnight:  I'm painting my nails with my dear roommate Kathryn.  We're just chillin and talking and it was great.  I get two texts:  one from Kate, and one from T.  Holy cow how I love those girls.  I got a few more texts for the next hour before I went to bed.  When I woke up, I got ready and went to biology (I found out I got a C- on my last test, it's fine.)  When Bio was over, cute little Mitch took me to Cafe Rio for lunch, it was delicious :)  Then I went to institute, which was actually a really good one because I tend to have the exact opposite of what my teacher teaches.  Just ask Kat, it's pretty funny when I start venting about it.  Anyway, after that was bio lab and we just did experiments.  Oh! After institute Parker came up to me with a present:  a Dixie Direct book.  Lots of coupons for St. Geezy!!  I love Parker, he's so amazing and such a good friend.  I'm so proud he's going on a mission and he will be sooooo great at it.  He sends me (and others) spiritual thoughts on Sundays and I enjoy them.  Back to my birthday day though.  After bio lab I went to do some homework real quick.  Then I had my RA class.  When I walked back into my room, there was this cake.  Just sitting in the middle of my room.  So weird. Because no one was in there. Or so I thought.  I'm just standing in my doorway, listening to my voicemail, staring at this cake, and the Kat pops out and goes "SURPRISE!!!"  It was great.  I thought she was the only one in the room, but then Mitch came out from under a blanket in the corner.  It was so funny, they were great!  After that Kate and T took me to dinner at Pizza Hut.  We got pasta and the staff sang to me and gave me these little apple pie things.  We went back to Kate and T's place to play BodyBody.  I looooove love loooove that game.  So much.  Lots of random people came and it was just the best.  Basically I love my friends and I love my life.  I'm so grateful for everyone and everything in it.  It's a blessing everyday.

So thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes and everything else that happened!!!!

Happily Ever After

Okay, so I love music.  And I'm currently LOVING He Is We.  Their "My Forever" album is just amazing.  Happily Ever After is one of the songs and it is just too great.  I could listen to them all day, and have been! :)

Other music I can't get enough of:  J.Wride.  Love them as a band and as friends.  My favorite song of their's is probably Evergreen.  But I really enjoy them all.  My dear friends Kate and T introduced them to me and I'm so glad they did!

Like I said, I love music.  I'll listen to anything and going to concerts makes me so excited!  I've been to Regina Spektor, Mates of State, and Fun.!  Oh and J.Wride!  I can't wait to go to Bruno Mars with Janelle Monae this summer either (assuming I'm in Salt Lake that is).

Okay, now I know Ke$ha is super trashy, but that just makes her even better.  I also am in love with the Beibs.  Beth sent me a text the other day with a definition.  It was:  belieber (noun) - someone who wrongly believes that Justin Bieber has musical talent.  Yep, that's me!  And I'm proud of it.  So anyone who doesn't like J.B. can just get over it and live with the fact that he really is great and I'm a supporter.

So yeah, I love music, and it's kind of a huge part of my life.  I'm always listening to it and sometimes it describes my life.  So let's see if I can find a song to go with every story, because we all have a story.
